To avoid last-minute bookings and give yourself time to prepare, you can set a minimum advance notice, also known as lead time. This ensures customers can only book appointments a certain amount of time before the slot begins.
How to set Minimum Advance Notice - Lead Time
1. Go to the “Services” page, click on any created service and go to “Availability Settings”.
2. Locate the Minimum Advance Notice option and choose how much lead time you need. Lead time can be in days, hours, or minutes.
For example, if you need 30 minutes to prepare before an appointment, set the lead time to 30 minutes.
3. By default, lead time is calculated based on the clock, not your working hours. To factor in your business hours, enable “Use working hours to calculate Lead Time and Cut-Off time.”
4. After enabling, set your working days and define the start and end times for each day. Click “Save”.
