BookX allows you to control whether customers can reschedule or cancel their own appointments. These settings help reduce no-shows, give customers more flexibility, and save you time by minimizing manual booking changes.
How to enable reschedule for your service
1. Go to the “Services” page and select the service you want to update.
2. Go to “Availability Settings” and scroll to the “Reschedule Booking” section.
3. Enable the “Reschedule booking” option.

4. Set the cut-off time after which customers cannot reschedule already scheduled booking. Cut-off time can be set in minutes, hours, or days.

5. Set the maximum number of times the booking can be rescheduled.

6. Once you set your reschedule preferences, click the “Save” button.
How to enable cancellation on your service
1. Go to the “Services” page and select the service you want to update.
2. Go to “Availability Settings” and scroll to the “Cancel Booking” section.
3. Enable the “Cancel booking” option.

4. Set the cut-off time after which customers cannot cancel already scheduled booking. Cut-off time can be set in minutes, hours, or days.

5. Once you set your cancellation preferences, click the “Save” button.
