BookX allows you to collect a refundable security deposit for your services to protect against damages, no-shows, or misuse.
Once enabled, the security deposit is automatically applied to all active payment methods for that service.
How to Enable Refundable security deposit for your service
- Go to the Services page and select your preferred service.
- Then, go to the Payment & Deposit page.
- Under Deposits, enable Refundable security deposit.
- Optionally, change the name and label for the deposit.
- Enter the deposit amount for the service.
- Add the terms and conditions related to the deposit and service usage.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Notes:
- Only fixed amounts can be used as deposits.
- Once a security deposit is enabled, it will be applied to all enabled payment methods for that service.
