You can integrate Google Calendar & Meet with the BookX app to schedule appointments, receive booking details and Google Meet links.
To integrate Google Calendar & Meet with BookX
- Go to BookX “Settings”, then click “Edit” on Integrations.
- Select “Google Meet & Calendar” and click “Connect Google Calendar”.
- Select a Google Account, click “Continue”, then click “Allow” to grant permissions.
- Enable “Add Google Meet link with Google Calendar Event” if needed. Click “Save”.
Once you integrate Google Calendar & Meet with BookX, the appointment will be scheduled on customers and store owner Google Calendar with Google Meet Link (if virtual service).
A booking confirmation email will be sent to the customer and store owner. However, if you’re offering a virtual service via Google Meet, you must create a custom email template to add the meet link to the confirmation email.
To create a custom confirmation email with Meet link:
1. Go to “Settings” and click “Edit” on “Notifications & Workflow”.
2. Select “Email Notifications” and click the “pencil” icon next to Customer Confirmation Email.
3. Write the subject and email body using the tags. Add @googleMeetLink to insert a Meet link in your email.

4. Click “Save” to save the email template.
Now, the Google Meet link will be added to the confirmation email of the customers.
If you wish to add the Meet link to the store owner confirmation email, click the “pencil” icon next to Store Owner Confirmation Email and add @googleMeetLink to the email body.
You can use the same steps to add Zoom links to your confirmation email using the tag @zoomMeetingLink.
