Is it possible to send reminder emails?

Yes. You can create workflows on the BookX app to automate reminder emails. You can set automated email reminders for new booking, start or end time for an appointment, cancellation or reschedule of an appointment.

Here is how to create automated reminder emails.

1. Go to BookX “Settings” and click “Edit” on Notification & Workflow.

2. Click on “Workflow” and click “Create Workflow”.

3. Enter a name for the workflow for internal reference.

4. Select when you want to trigger the reminder email.

Here is how to select the trigger event:

  • Booking created: Email is triggered when the booking is created.
  • Booking start time/day: Email is triggered when the appointment starts.
  • Booking end time/day: Email is triggered when the appointment ends.
  • Booking rescheduled: Email is triggered when the booking is rescheduled.
  • Booking cancelled: Email is triggered when the booking is cancelled.

5. Click “Browse” and add the services that this workflow should apply to.

6. Click “Add Notification”.

7. Select the trigger options, you can choose between before, after, or immediate based on the trigger event selected.

8. Set the trigger time, you can set them in minutes, hours, or days.

9. In the recipients add @ownerEmail and @customerEmail tags.

10. Enter the subject line for the reminder email.

11. Use the tags to write the body of the email and click “Save”.
