In the Advanced Settings page, you can switch between Flexible or Dynamic Slots, and enable Location & Service-Based Slots.
How to set advanced slot settings
To access Advanced Settings, go to BookX “Settings” page, click “Edit” on General Configurations and select the “Advanced Settings” tab.
1. Advanced Slot Settings
Flexible Slots: Selecting this option will give you complete control over your availability. You can manually set specific time slots that best match your schedule.

Dynamic Slots: Selecting this option will simplify the scheduling process by automatically generating time slots based on your input. Just enter the service duration, start and end time for the day, BookX will automatically create slots. You can also add break times to prevent back-to-back bookings.
Once you select the slot settings, click the “Save” button.
2. Location & Service-based Slots
Enable Advanced Service Configuration to set availability based on service or location. This setup is great for businesses with multiple branches or services that run on different schedules.
- Service: Each service can have its own unique schedule.
- Location: Define time slots specific to each of your business locations.
Once you've adjusted your slot settings, click “Save” to apply the changes.
