Thank you for choosing BookX – Appointment Booking App to power your bookings on Shopify store. This guide will walk you through the initial setup process and help you create your first service in just a few simple steps.

Set up BookX on your Shopify store
1. Install the "BookX - Appointment Booking app” app from the Shopify App Store.
2. Click “Get Started” to proceed with the initial setup of the app. You can also skip the entire onboarding process if you prefer to complete it later.
- Choose your plan: Free, Starter, Growth, Business, Advanced Plan, or Skip the plan. Note: You will get a 14-day free trial from the date of subscription.
4. Select your service type (e.g., Events, Classes, Rentals) and choose how you want to set up your service:
- Minute / Hour Booking: Customers can book a specific date and time.
- Full-Day Booking: Customers can reserve the entire day.
- Multi-Day Booking: Customers can reserve multiple days.
- Bundle Booking: Customers can book multiple slots on any days.
5. Click “Next” on the preferred service type.
6. If the booking product already exists in your store, click “Add Product” and select the product. Otherwise, click “I don’t have a booking product,” configure the product price, and click “Next.”
7. Select the payment option you want to offer: Full Payment, Partial Payment, or Book Now, Pay Later. You can also enable multiple payment options to give customers greater flexibility.
Note: To enable more than one payment option using the Multiple Payment Options, you will need to subscribe to the Growth plan or a higher-tier plan.
8. Next, enable BookX in your theme, or select “Continue & Enable Later” to enable it at a later time.
- Click “Enable BookX” and enable the “BookX” app.
- Click the “Save” button.
11. Return to the BookX app and click “Go to Dashboard.”
12. You’ve successfully created a basic service with BookX.
