Some customers may call or email you to book your service. In BookX, you can quickly create a manual booking for them.
Note: Manual bookings can only be created for services that are linked to a product.
How can I create a booking on behalf of a customer
1. Go to the “Bookings” page in the BookX app and click the “Create Manual Booking” button.

2. Click “Browse” to select the product associated with the required service.

3. Assign location and team member if these options are available in the service.
4. Select the product quantity, then click “Check Slots” to view available time slots.

5. Choose the preferred time slot for the booking.

6. Select one of the following booking options:

- Create as order: Creates the order without requesting payment. The payment status will follow the app settings.
- Create a draft order: Creates a draft order. Payment can be requested immediately or at a later stage.
- Send payment invoice: Enable this option to send an invoice to the customer. The order will be create once payment is completed.
- Tax exempt: Enable this option if the customer is tax-exempt or for special cases where taxes should not be applied.
- Accept automatic discounts: Enable this option to apply any active automatic discounts to the booking.
- Discount codes: If you have created any discounts code on Shopify, enter them here.
- Enter the customer details, then click “Create Booking” to complete the process.

That’s it! Your manual booking is done and it will appear on the Bookings page of the app.
