Thank you for choosing BookX – Appointment Booking App to power your bookings on Shopify store. This guide will walk you through the initial setup process and help you create your first service in just a few simple steps.

Set up BookX on your Shopify store
1. Install the "BookX - Appointment Booking app” app from the Shopify App Store.
2. Click “Get Started” to proceed with initial setup of the app.

3. Select your service type (e.g., Events, Classes, Rentals) and choose how you want to set up your service:
- Regular Booking with Payment: Customers can book regular (e.g., 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour) slots and pay at checkout.
- Full-Day Booking with Payment: Customers can book full-day slots and pay at checkout.
- Multi-Day Booking with Payment: Customers can book multi-day slots and pay at checkout.
- Regular Booking with Pay Later Option: Customers can book regular (e.g., 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour) slots and pay later or in person.
- Full-Day Booking with Pay Later Option: Customers can book full-day slots and pay later or in person.
- Multi-Day Booking with Pay Later Option: Customers can book multi-day slots and pay later or in person.
- Customize your Service: Create a service for your products with all flexibility.
- Service without Product: Create a service without a product.
4. Click “Create Service” on the preferred service category.

5. Enter a name for your service and link products to your service.
6. Next, set up the booking slot based on your preference.
7. Optionally, set the Lead Time and Capacity Setup.
8. You’ve successfully created a basic service with BookX.
Enable BookX in your theme
Once you have created a basic service, enable BookX in Theme Editor:
1. Select the live or draft theme of your store.
2. Click “Go to Theme Editor”.
3. Enable the “BookX” app and click “Save”.

4. Click “View in your store” to preview the widget.

You can click “Continue & Enable Later” if you want to skip the process.
